How to install Coppermine Manually using Coppermine Web based installer
To install Coppermine manually the first thing you will have to do is download the application files (figures).
Download Coppermine here
Once you have download the zip file to your local hard drive, please, go to your cPanel (http://yourdomain.com/cpanel) and upload the file to your public_html folder using the FileManager. After you have finished uploading the file, extract it again using FileManager. You should end up with a folder called cpg14x (where x is a number, latest version is 1.4.2 so cpg142). You can rename the folder to your liking, e.g. gallery. This way your Coppermine gallery will be accessible through http://yourdomain.com/gallery.
Next you need to create a database for your Coppermine Gallery. Click here to learn how to create a database for your Coppermine gallery and then come back on this page to continue with the installation. Once you are ready with setting up the database, you can proceed with the Coppermine web installer. You can access it at http://yourdomain.com/gallery (assuming you have renamed the cpg14x folder to gallery, otherwise replace 'gallery' with the name you have used.

The first three fields are for your administration account - username/password and e-mail to be used for administration purposes, you can fill those to your liking.
Next comes the MySQL configuration. Here you must enter the details of the database you have created (note that the database and username names have your account's username as a prefix. If you have created database called gallery the name of the database would be yourusername_gallery. Same goes for the database username).
On IndicHosts.net servers there are both ImageMagick and GD library installed in the /usr/bin folder so you can just type in /usr/bin as shown on the screenshot. Coppermine will automatically select which image converter to use.
Once you are done with entering the required install information, click on the Let's Go! button. If you have followed all the steps so far you should be watching a summary of the completed installation:

Click on the Let's Continue button, that will automatically log you in to your freshly installed Coppermine Photo Gallery.
