A virtual directory is a friendly name, or alias, for a physical directory on your server that does not reside in the home directory. For example, if you create a virtual directory called “images” from a folder anywhere on your server, the contents of that folder will appear at http://www.mydomain.com/images/  a pesar de que no están físicamente ubicados en las imágenes/ subcarpeta de su sitio web, bordesquo;s carpeta raíz.

Step 1. Open the Sitio Web Propiedades page by clicking the website name under the “Website” Link

Step 2. Select the Dirs virtuales tab and click the Crear directorio button. The Añadir Directorio Virtual page will open.

Step 3. In the Nombre del directorio box, type a name for the virtual directory. In the Folder box, escriba o busque en el directorio físico en el que reside el directorio virtual.

Step 4. Click the Crear directorio button. The Propiedades del directorio virtual page will open. This page is a limited version like the properties page of a website.
