How is a Semi-Dedicated Server different from shared hosting or a VPS?
It sits between the two: dedicated, guaranteed CPU and RAM with only a few accounts per physical server, but fully managed by us, so you get more power than shared hosting without the licensing cost and management overhead of a VPS.
Are the CPU and RAM genuinely dedicated?
Yes. Each plan reserves its cores and memory (from 4 cores / 4 GB on SD-Mini up to 16 cores / 16 GB on SD-2, with SD-3 above that) as guaranteed resources, not shared or burst allocations.
Do you migrate my sites for free?
Yes. We move your websites, emails, files, and databases from cPanel, DirectAdmin, or any supported server at no charge, whatever the size. If your old server is not supported, we do a free manual migration or give you a self-service tool.
Can I get a dedicated IP, PCI compliance, or root access?
A dedicated IPv4 (up to 3) can be added to any tier at checkout. PCI compliance is available on SD-2. There is no root access; semi-dedicated is fully managed; if you need root, a VPS or dedicated server fits better.
Which add-ons can I configure at checkout?
Server location, dedicated IPv4 (1–3), Redis or Memcached object caching, a malware-protection licence (Imunify360, BitNinja, or cPGuard), DDoS mitigation, extra storage, extra cPanel accounts (up to 100), and offsite backups from 100 GB to 5 TB.
