Last updated 2025-06-07

2FA or 'Two Factor Authentication" is an electronic authentication method in which a user is granted access to a website or application only after successfully presenting two or more pieces of evidence (or factors) to an authentication mechanism. We use your password and a mobile device key to verify you as a valid user for the system.

Enable Two-Factor Authentication for a cPanel User

1. Login to the cPanel account

2. Under the Security section, click on the Two Factor Authentication icon

3. Follow the steps on the page to enable Two Factor authentication
